Carol Benson is an author, communication coach, and speaker helping high achieving, visionary women stop performing and start connecting—by unscripting their voice, calming the nervous system, and leading with magnetic authenticity. She champions women to move beyond fear, peak with clarity, and reclaim their voice—on the page, the stage, and in their lives. A Speech Language Pathologist, she’s also a certified Conscious Business Coach, Speaker Nation Coach, and Mindvalley master trainer.
She brings over two decades of expertise in storytelling, psychology, and authentic self-expression to her work with individuals and audiences around the world. Her platform, Unscript Your Voice, empowers socially introverted leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives to move beyond fear—fear of being seen, heard, judged, or misunderstood—so they can speak, write, and show up with clarity, confidence, and joy. She guides clients and readers in rewriting the outdated scripts running their lives and replacing them with a deeper sense of truth, presence, and personal power.
Carol co-authored 5 Steps to Thrive: Reveal Any Crisis as Opportunity, a book she wrote with her husband Paul Benson during a season of personal transformation. That book laid the foundation for what has now become a growing body of work about unscripting fear and reclaiming your voice.
She’s also the writer behind Subtext and Soul on Substack, where she explores the silent narratives beneath our choices, the language of growth, and how to rewrite what no longer fits. Her debut novel, My Friend Tom, a story of friendship, betrayal, and redemption is launching soon.
